This YouTube channel has been uploading some Hollies + Solo clips this week. Not seen the 1975 clip of 'Long Cool Woman' on the beach before or several of the Allan Clarke ones, 'Ruby' from 1972 is a treat especially. See the full channel of Hollies videos here: www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL0O3i249bcaVmL5y0FR0fImFyqu0-M6Mx

I wonder why we never see Allan playing the clip they both admit he wrote and played?

But,as you say, should be mainly Allan!!

Gonna have fun watching these later, thanks malc! 😊 Particularly excited to see the Sud Side Story beach clip, the quality looks amazing compared to the version that was posted on here before.

So I just finished watching through the playlist. I'm probably stating the obvious, but these clips do a great job of chronicling their transformation as a group from year to year. Some particularly cool things I hadn't seen before were A Tous Vents (interesting to hear Have You Ever Loved Somebody without the fuzz guitar), Bandstand and the Magic Woman Touch promo, plus it was nice to revisit some of the better-known videos also.
Some "elevated observations" if you will (; in the Look Through Any Window on Hullabaloo and I'm Alive on Shindig clips, is there a particular reason as to why Graham and Tony have swapped guitars? Hullabaloo is definitely mimed, but Shindig sounds live and cuts away during what should be the Vox 12-string solo, right? My guess is that it was pre-recorded and Tony overdubbed it afterwards?

Yeah, the Shindig performances were taped with the boys in London and the American dancers added afterwards for TV airing.
