Can anyone enlighten me, please? I always thought this was a live performance but watching it again this evening, I notice that on 'He ain't heavy' the visual is Alan starts to play his mouth organ yet the audio is of him still singing!
See minute 29

Terry sings that line, but the camera angle doesn't really let you see him doing it. He did the same when they performed the song with Rickfors too.
Great show btw, I like to come back to it every now and again. I really like how I Can't Tell The Bottom sounds here taken down a tone.

Thanks, The Janitor, for clarifying. Yes, I absolutely love this show and watch it regularly. Love their performance of Sandy ... and Stop, Stop, Stop is so raw and I guess the modern word is 'organic'.

😊I remember years ago, my Dad finally agreed to be dragged along to a concert, to see ' what all the fuss was about', with his daughter's ( me!) favourite band, in Southport,I think it was. He was very sceptical about 'modern' band's,( as they were to him!) being able to reproduce their sound as well as on their records. His deal breaker was ... " Let's see how he can play the harmonica AND sing at the same time then, if they don't mime or use backing tapes...."🤔 ....and of course Terry did indeed sing that line live.....and my Dad gave due praise to their abilities 😉....it was always one of his favourite songs❤️❤️

Just watched this today for the first time and found it majorly enjoyable! The first thing I liked was seeing Bernie playing piano with Tony on bass (and playing it like a guitar as guitarists often do.) Bernie is really versatile and a good pianist. I’m sure fans hated seeing Eric go, but I think the band gained a lot musically when Bernie joined. And no one can claim Terry wasn’t plugged in LOL. Tony’s banjo playing is so unique also.
Also thought the video editing was excellent as well. The camera was always on the right person at the right time for what I was hearing. Little things like focusing on Pete when he was doing something neat on the synth or Bobby during a cymbal swell.
I’m sure all of you have been familiar with this video for a long time, but I’m glad it was shared.

Two things that slightly bother me about it though are the voiceover during their speaking parts (I understand it's for Swiss TV, but maybe someone here can translate?) as well as LCW being cut off at the end just as it's starting! Makes you wonder if any other songs didn't make the broadcast...

Makes you wonder if any other songs didn't make the broadcast... The voiceovers didn’t bother me much, in English speaking countries we do the same thing. A little eye opening in a way. But subtitles would’ve been nice to follow along with. Yeah I wish LCW was complete too. Mark

The concert was recorded in Cologne, Germany and also broadcast on Germany and Swiss TV. Why LCW has been hidden ? Too bad, because the beginning of LCW was something different in terms of sound.
