Cool news and an interesting tho short article. Weird tho that heβd send tracks to his guitarist before his drummer.

So,I wonder if Allan's solo album has now become an Allan and Graham album completely? Kind of sounds like it, if they have 8 songs together already? Very interesting to see if the songwriting is shared at all, or if Graham is just singing on Allan's songs? Could determine the flavour? I suspect it will be still a bit of a wait though, with things flying across the Atlantic for additions, and indeed for the ' agreed sign off' which now has to include another voice? Please, not too long a wait though....π€....." Completing the circle"- has to beππππ

At last, the long awaited debut album from Ricky and Dane Young!
This is incredible. In Allan's last interview, probably in 2020 now, he said they had four songs, so the project is obviously progressing. I'm not sure what to expect of this one - 'Resurgence' meets 'This Path Tonight'. I expect it'll probably be a combination of songs that they've written separately and a few numbers that are genuine collaborations. Allan will give Graham's tracks some interesting contrasting sections and Graham will give Allan's tracks a catchy chorus or lead melody. 'This Path Tonight' was kind of what I expected from Graham, but 'Resurgence' blew me away with its versatility and contemporary sound. I expect that Graham will bring a higher standard of production overall, which was 'Resurgence's only minor flaw in places. Either way, Graham and Allan are the dream team, as we know, and will compliment each other beautifully.
I hope the song matter is quite autobiographical in places or perhaps songs that tell the story of their friendship - even if the song's subject isn't them particularly. I'm sort of imagining this album shaping up like 'Songs For Beginners' but with Allan.
And just imagine... Tony Hicks doing a guest guitar solo and/or Bobby playing drums on a few tracks. I can dream, can't I?
