Just got this 2-CD from Germany. Released 2012 on EMI 50999 4 64090 2 7. Has anyone had a close listen to it? On the booklet it is written that Arian Rietwink Productions in the Netherlands did audio remastering. Artwork Stefan Klein.

Just order one of the for myself. It will be interesting to hear to compare but my ears are getting pretty old now and not so good. Are the notes in German? Interesting on the Amazon site is states most of the tracks are 2003 remasters. A couple with no info, a couple of 2001, a 2008 and a 2011. I don't have a database for every track recorded by the Hollies and when those tracks have been remastered. Guess I should unless someone has already done that (if you have am I able to get a copy before going through the process). Some tracks have been remastered more that once and some of the remasters are a bit hard to listen to.

To my ears, the 'remasters' that are used have been re-mastered for CD, with more bass and top end added. The result is one of the best sounding Hollies compilations ever, as the official remasters are all a little weak sounding to me.

Should be an interesting listen then.
