Interesting. Does appear as if Graham's guitar isn't plugged in and the guitar isn't miked separately.

It’s hard to say as they probably switched it about given that it was a special show. For their tours of early 1968, the setlist usually featured: Stop! Stop! Stop! Look Through Any Window On A Carousel Dear Eloise The Times They Are A Changin’ Butterfly The Games We Play Very Last Day Too Much Monkey Business Carrie Anne

Great stuff Cam - thanks for posting these rocking photos. This concert was introduced by Micky Dolenz of the Monkees. The full setlist of 14 Feb 1968 is this:
Stop Stop Stop Look Through Any Window The Times They Are A Changin' On A Carousel Stewball Just One Look I Can't Let Go Butterfly A Taste Of Honey Teddy Bear (20 seconds only - Elvis song) Carrie Anne Bus Stop Very Last Day** Too Much Monkey Business/Daydream** (** = encore)
There is no known surviving tape recording of this gig sadly. cheers Simon

Great photos. Too bad I was a bit too young to catch this show. Funny how they included Stewball and Too much monkey business, when neither track had been released in the US at the time, having been left off the Imperial albums. No one told them that "I'm Alive" was a hit on L.A. radio apparently. They could have done "Pay you back with interest", a US hit. The problem was that they didn't alter their set list to cater to what was going on here in the US. (In 1975 they basically did their UK cabaret set, with time-wasters like Just One Look and I'll Be Your Baby Tonight included). It does seem odd that a world-class band with numerous hits under their belts would be playing a small club like The Whisky in 1968, in Los Angeles yet.
