Here are my 6 promo sleeves. I wonder if there exist more than these.

Ah, I have a couple of them. Just thought they were alternate sleeves.

How do you determine that they are promo 45s? Is there text on the sleeve or record that indicates that?

It is written on the back.

Interestingly, it's only the back side of "The baby" German promo sleeve that's different to the front side. On the front side the company (Hansa) announces the new lead singer. The back side introduces the new line up in the way that later "product fact sheets" are made. The record, however, bears no signs of a promo record. The other five sleeves I own are the same on both sides. So I would draw the same conclusion as Knut did, such sleeves have presumably been sent to record shops, magazines, radio stations or discotheques. The normal record buyer would have been more attracted by picture sleeves as it was the normal way in Germany from the mid-Sixties on.

I just discovered that there is a German promo sleeve for Amnesty too. It is on 45cat.
