Can anyone tell me the differences between the Furmanek mix on the 30th Anniversary CD and the Tony and Paul Hicks mix from 1997 that appears on the At Abbey Road 1966-1970 CD? I've listened and they sound pretty much the same.

For starters, Rons mix is sadly very "loud" and distorted, hence why Tony wanted it remixing for the first "official" UK release.
There's a harmonium that's barely audible in the 1997 mix that's clearly present in the 1993 mix (during the middle eight from "But I'd never seen this man laughing...").
Tony's lower harmony is very prominent in the mix in 1993, but not in the 1997 mix
the percussion is more mixed forward in the 1993 mix too.
Shame it's so distorted, I'd say it's the better than the later one. The 1997 mix does sound more professional.
