Sorry, I haven't went completely off my head, but having heard this Keith Urban track yesterday I really couldn't believe the similarity between his and Peter Howarth's voice particularly at the start. See what you think. Remember, season of good will, so not too much p*ss taking, please!

Go on then, i'll be brave.............................As if one wasn't one too many...!!! lol... maybe Peter should start worrying as I'm thinking of a decade or so ago when Jon Anderson took a vacation from Yes for surgery, was replaced by a tribute act singer and the band preferred him so much they wouldn't let Anderson rejoin!

Ok song, and yes I can hear the voice resemblance. To me it actually doesn't sound too far off from what a Christmas song by the current Hollies might sound like. Just switch out the drum machine for Bobby and those backing vocals for Tony and the other guys!
I did say this on another thread, but I think Sal Valentino of The Beau Brummels sounds very vocally similar to Allan. They have similar kind of twang in their voices.

Doesn't have to be similar, just strong, I would never hide that I am a big AC fan but despite any misgivings around Rikfors back in the day I am convinced that he could have carried the band in to a much more interesting and dynamic place ...

Back in 1972 I was actually looking forward to both acts moving on side-by-side. I found Mikael's voice strong and refreshing on "Romany", but was also pleasantly surprised by how strong "My Real Name Is 'Arold" was (is)...

So what. Bland singers like Howarth are a dime a dozen.
