Carrying on my idea from The Baby thread, what would everyone consider as some of Bobby's best moments behind the drum kit in the Hollies' discography? His playing on the aforementioned song is a highlight, but a few others that are favourites of mine are Survival of The Fittest (a great short solo followed by some crazy rolls!), his jazzy style on A Taste of Honey and Blowin' In The Wind, the slowed timpani effect on King Midas In Reverse and something I think would be a very overlooked answer is his different kinds of playing with the tempo and mood changes of the song Confessions of A Mind. And obviously, not forgetting his intros to the early hits! But yeah, what are some of your favourites?

"Sweet Little Sixteen" and "Tomorrow When It Comes" are major stand outs for me.

Off the top of my head, I've always loved the drumming from 'It's You', off the Stop! Stop! Stop! album.

I can't take my eyes off him on this video, he's so incredibly talented. I regret that there's not much more live stuff from the 1960s from when he really let loose:

You beat me to it Cameron. This is the go to clip to show off Bobby.
I Can't Let Go from the same to has some great shots of Bobby in action near the end too.

One other track where Bobby's drumming really caught my fancy, was that slightly jazzy number 'Honey And Wine'.

When I first saw the Hollies live in 1975, I was amazed by Bobs drum solo in Blowin in the wind,

I love the understated complexity of his drum pattern on 'Carrie Anne' too, especially when they played it live and he'd do a whole four beat roll into the chorus after the steel drum section. It just oozes excitement and lifts the whole song from being a simple little pop song to something way more mature in its own way.

From the drumming intro to light jazzy style 'hi hat ride' also underpinning the track throughout...then 'speeding up' the concluding tempo (Bobby's idea) this was a great performance from Bobby
