Probably a bit early to post this but I'm just seeing if there is anybody out there who knows the whereabouts of Eric Haydock these days?
I can't seem to find any info on his recent band Class Of 64 and the rumour I hear most often is that he "runs a music shop in Leeds", but Google turns up nothing of the sort.
I have an original "Stay With The Hollies" LP which already has Bobby's, Tony's and Graham's autographs on it and I am desperate to complete it, "while I still can", if you get my drift...
I have already contacted a mate whose father worked with Clarkey so wish me luck on that front.

I have no idea, although he was at the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame induction, so he must still be in contact with the Hollies somehow.
I live in Leeds and we only have three main music shops in the city centre - two are chain stores and one is an independently run guitar shop. I know the owner of the guitar shop, and it's certainly not Eric Haydock! Unless he's fortunate enough to run the Leeds divisions of either of the chain stores, then I think the rumour must be untrue. Being from Manchester, it seems more likely that he would own a shop there? Either way, I'm in Leeds City Centre a few times a week, and can always make enquiries to see.
You can also try to contact The Hollies' management through their website, they might be able to help.
Good luck! Let us know if you track him down!

Great, cheers!
Yes, I thought that unlikely about "Leeds" too. Well, my friend's dad is legendary Roger "Blue Mink" Cook so he is working on getting me Allan's autograph as we speak so perhaps I'll enquire about Eric too!
You never know!

I was fortunate enough to obtain from an English friend a copy of the Class of '64's CD with the autographs of all members except fpr Mick Avory. So, I've gpt Eric's, Tony's and Bobby's signatures, as well as Terry Sylvester's. I don't think Eric has been involved with the Class of '64 for several years now. Last I heard, and this is years old, too, he wasn't in the best of health. Thpugh he obviously was healthy enough to get to the states in 2010 for the RRHOF awards, and looked fairly well.

He played in Norway earlier this year with ex-members of the Swinging Blue Jeans. It was an oldies festival, also presenting Mick Avory and Brian Poole. Attachments:

Eric still lives in northern England, not far from Manchester. He's healthy, happy and still playing.
