Fellow Hollies fans, I asked this on the main forum a few weeks back, and got some great information on it from Gee; 'Crossfire' is, as far as I know, the only B Side I do not own from the Hollies output 1963 - 1983. I'm only a fan about 2 years at this point (after viewing 'Look Through Any Window' DVD in summer 2013) - but became a major fan very quickly (got the albums in sequence). This time 2 years ago I had no Hollie album, and I only knew some of the Greatest Hits. Now I have every album, the Clark Hick Nash boxset, and am anticipating the Friday release of the 'Changin Times' set - which I've been looking forward to from the moment I read the news; as some of my absolute favourite Hollies work is that glorious 1969-1973 period. 'Crossfire' I know is available on the French Magic label; however, locating that is proving difficult. The single itself is on ebay, but alas, I do not have a record player. I hope to locate it on CD, or mp3, to add to my itunes version of 'A Crazy Steal'. If anyone can point me in the direction to this long sought after track, I would much appreciate it

Thanks SO much to the fellow fan who graciously sent me a copy; to finally have 'Crossfire' is wonderful SHOULD have been an A-side. One of the last great tracks from the band in the 1970s.

Agreed James - Tremendous guitarwork by Tony Hicks !
....and it most certainly SHOULD have opened side two of 'A Crazy Steal' - move 'Amnesty' up to third track and there's no need to include the two years old 'Boulder' Feb 1976 single thus making the album feature more 'new' material, more original compositions, and sounding a bit livelier and it less top heavy with slow melodramatic ballads...
but what do we know...
