Just read The Hollies are coming back to Germany in May 2020. What do you think: will this be a „new tour“ with a „new“ Setlist. They are playing the pretty much same setlist here since 2017. Don‘t get me wrong i will enjoy it anyway. But in my opion a few changes would be great.

Have they gotten rid of that game show host yet?

That's great news Allanclarke, I would imagine it mostly the same set list, think its more like a hits list show. Great that Tony and Bobby are keeping the legacy going. I believe they are doing an English tour too. They are still going strong and are very popular.

If this is true - a great news. The last tours I don`t have the chance to see them. If they come in 2020 I will stay on one of theire concerts.

Oh dear, that mediocre group that passes itself off now as "The Hollies" just won't quit.

albatros you will enjoy the shows, the Hollies keep on keeping on. I saw 4 of the shows on their last English tour, I flew over from Australia, enjoyed every minute. Hey you only live once, some stay home bitter and count their pennies plus with Tony and Bob being in their 70's don't know how long they will keep going so don't miss a chance, think its Peter Howarth that says while they keep coming they will continue, well people turn up in their droves. Nothing like great live music.

Hi Anthony! I know. Maybe the last chance to see them live. All over the years I saw them more than 25 times in concert when they touring Germany. Last 2 tours I don`t have time to see them.

I always think that when I see them it may be the last time, sadly can't go on forever. with 2 55year veterans of the band its a wonderful experience seeing them live. I've seen them 18 times, 9 with this line up. First time was back in 1975.

Hi Anthony! I saw them live in concert around 25 times. My first Hollies concert in 1976 in Höchberg near Würzburg - together with the LRB. They were really in a good mood back then. You could already see that the Little River Band has great potential. Afterwards at every D-Tour 2 to 3 concerts. For me the one with the most positive memories of 1977 Bad Kissingen. During the tour in 1984 I was able to talk to Allan Clarke for about 30 minutes before the concert in Mannheim. He wanted to have everything I had with me. Pictures, records, etc. In 1979, the Hollies were in Nuremberg. I was really looking forward to it. Then, however, a very small barely visible part was attached to the front door - today without Allan Clarke who is ill. I think that had another reason then. I was absolutely fed up with it. The concert was something completely different. Tony and Terry took over the entire vocal part. The whole concert was made more instrumental. In hindsight it was something different. 1997 at Mercedes Benz my last concert with Allan Clarke. That was for me the worst Hollies concert - because I had to watch as my favorite voice - favorite singer Allan Clarke - tormented by the whole evening. His voice was broken.2000 the first one with Carl Wayne - also at Mercedes Benz. Class concert. I would have liked to see the Hollies with Rickfors and Graham Nash. Unfortunately there was no opportunity for me.
