Just found this, never see it before. Great!
I knew it was made (and mention it in my book), but I hadn't seen it before. Also apparently in circulation is a video for 'Ruby', though I've yet to see it myself... anyone??
I've been saying for years that I saw this advertised on EBay around 2003 but wasn't big enough a fan then to realise the rarity. I'm glad to know it does exist and I didn't just imagine it as I've never seen mention if it in the intervening years!

I know this is a decent bit of an "old" thread and I don't want to rehash anything that's perhaps been settled already before my time - though I totally empathize with being a "millennial fan" of the Hollies. I only got interested (beyond the main hits) in around 2013 after watching that LTAW documentary myself and I quickly absorbed everything there was/is to know at the time and safely have as many official releases on CD/vinyl as I can find around here in the secondhand US shops... I did want to quickly just say a thank you to everyone who commented previously about RITY who made that documentary... I won't go into detail (really long story!) but I ended up having some contact with them about Hollies material (and I was really as nice as I could be, as I would be courteous to anyone!) and I received responses beyond my comprehension of how awful a person could act. I wasn't sure if I had said/done something in particular or if whoever is behind that company were just intolerably rude (or had a chip on their shoulder) - I see reading this I'm not alone and that both of those are correct. I can understand them being a business like alone else but surely if people like your product and/or are interested in it (and in cases in this thread, asking for more product to buy!!) - insulting like that is so unprofessional and leaves a sour taste. Makes you wonder how big their domination on these rare clips are if *these* were the people dealing with all of the ex-members of our fave group who were involved. I will be always thankful for the documentary for getting me into these guys, and I enjoy it for what it is, but after what occurred I couldn't be caught dead buying a DVD from them again. In a sad and backhanded way, maybe it is a blessing these people (likely) won't be responsible for more Hollies material - I'd love to see rare promos as much as anyone else here, but if they antagonize the base - at what cost? He was an obnoxious individual on the previous forum, if I remember correctly. Whilst it's mostly a very good documentary, it could have been much more. Well said, James! I remember he seemed incensed that we ungrateful peons dared to question his masterpiece. While the documentary was fine up to the point of Nash's departure, he obviously thought the post-Nash Hollies were of little account. When we questioned while the Sylvester and Rickfors eras were given the bum's rush treatment, he had a tantrum. I think he was pissed that on the pre-eminent Holles site on the web, his product received very mixed reviews.

The portion of the videoclip put online I would have to say is in far superior quality to the NTSC videotape though the latter is complete.

Indeed, even from the first time I watched it (before I knew nearly as much about them as I did mere days later!) I noticed the insane lack of depth after Graham's exit. I wondered at the time if perhaps the Hollies just didn't have anything else to offer besides a couple hit singles in Heavy, Air, LCW, etc; in those years afterward - I discovered just how wrong it was when I listened to Another Night for the first time - a big wow moment - among everything else. As a giant devotee, looking back at this film the last time I watched it in 2018, it only became even larger just how much is brushed over. I mean, just a singular *mention* of Mikael Rickfors (plus a 1.5 second silent shot of him singing The Baby) - no justice for a lead singer of two (brilliant) albums, US tour, etc;... I know, I'm being redundant saying this, but just the sheer audacity of it is beyond me. Personal hunch to me says that people only really (and sadly) remember The Hollies name from being Graham Nash's pre-CSNY group and so to get people interested in watching it, he/his name was the big draw - therefore anything that didn't directly involve him was of no matter or consequence to the film and/or the viewer. Oh well...

To my eyes and ears, it is hard to imagine a more exciting find than the 1968 Croatian footage.

Oh well... Very true! Your last sentence says it all. The DVD was so Nash-centric it should have been titled, GRAHAM NASH: His Hollies Years. I played my copy twice in the first week after purchasing it, and it's sat on a shelf gathering dust ever since.

My holy grail would be to see the Hollies Colour Me Pop 1968 performance on dvd You'd be left somewhat disappointed Depends what your angle is: I'm an enthusiast of Colour Me Pop in it's own right, so I'm very excited to be (hopefully!: we were thwarted in 2017 so don't want to count my chickens!) seeing the show at the Parkside Pop event tomorrow.
I do however take the point from a Hollies fan perspective that between other contemporary existing known Hollies footage such as Mike Douglas, Croatia and the 1969 In Concert, that the 1968 Hollies CMP show doesn't contain any unique complete song performances unrepresented elsewhere and so perhaps these days (esp in black and white) it isn't that interesting a proposition. However I'm still looking forward to seeing it. I'm intrigued by the idea of animations for the linking greatest hits but keeping my expectations as to their content low (no spoilers please!).. shall (hopefully) report back soon.

Not sure if this is an 'holy grail', but apparently footage of The Hollies 'Top Of The Pops' appearance from 30-06-66 (performing 'Bus Stop') has surfaced. I wonder if this includes Eric Haydock on bass, as he is on the circulating 16-06-66 clip? Well, I saw this yesterday, and while it’s definitely a different performance (there’s an interesting ‘jagged’ split screen effect used for a combined shot of Nash and Hicks) unfortunately there’s only one very brief shot of the bass player in the side of the frame, and it went by so fast I wasn’t able to identify who it was. Sorry :/ It we had the film to replay and pause it may be possible.

Hi Anthony! Thsis is the LONG COOL WOMAN song (outside) Clip from the SUD-SIDE-STORY, a movie from 1975 shown in Germany and the Netherlands. Bernie Calvert was also as an actor on this movie. I look all over the years for this clip - in better quality. I have this one maybe in the best quality how served around. But they also sung THE AIR THATI BREATH on this movie. Also on the bill was a Germany country band called TRUCK STOP. Both songs I saw on this Hollies DVD called Archive 2. This one was on the I OFFER web side. Shortly later when I saw this one they chancelled all the videos from theire sales web. Bad luck.
